Welcome to the Critical Thinking course. My name is Benedikt, and I am the trainer for this course.
We live in a knowledge society. That means that successful people are not the one with the biggest muscles or the strongest bodies. If you want to have a blooming career, you need to increase your knowledge. The more critical you think the better your knowledge will be.
Critical Thinking provides you with the skills to analyze and evaluate the world around you. It provides the best chance of making the correct decision for your company and yourself.
Critical Thinking will lead you to being a more rational and disciplined thinker.
This course will provide you the skills to evaluate, identify, and distinguish between useful information, useless information, and fake news.
It will show you ways to change how you think and find the best solutions for your problems.
In the first few modules, we will look at what critical thinking is and how your curiosity can be sparked by critical thinking. Then I will introduce to you a way how you can start to think systematically and develop assumptions. This greatly helps in solving problems – which is the major benefit of critical thinking.
Towards the end, I will show you how we lie to us – and what we can do to prevent this.
Now it’s time to get started!
