A comprehensive course in Management of Crisis and Trauma that aims to equip you with the required knowledge and skills to identify, assess and provide intervention during crisis situations and traumatic events.
It provides competency-building exercises to identify the red flags of trauma, gain knowledge about building Trauma-informed schools to aid students and all stakeholders, and understand the specific interventions to provide Social-Emotional support during the pandemic of COVID-19.
The course covers the Fundamentals of Crisis Intervention and Trauma management, Identification of Trauma in children, Strategies for Crisis and Trauma Management, Application of Crisis and Trauma Management Strategies at School via Case studies & Crisis and Trauma Management via Counselling Sessions.
The Course covers the meaning & relevance of the terms ‘Crisis’ and ‘Trauma’, identification of the signs of trauma and the importance of intervention at school.
