Description

This course will examine the foundations of the criminal justice system. This includes criminal justices functions, systems, and purposes. It will give an insight into criminology, victimology, profiling, and how these three come together to help catch a criminal. Next to will dive into the legal side of things and examine what constitutes a crime and the defense a prosecutor might encounter. It will examine criminalistics in the never ending desire to understand crime. Lastly, it will examine the Constitution, the highest source of law in our land and explain how it related to you, an offender, and those trying to bring these individuals to justice.
