Description
You may think that Drawing belongs to realistic art. And you may also think that this kind of creative visual expression belongs to artists.
You would be wrong on both ideas.
Creative Drawing should be everyone´s territory. Because it has to do with our mind. And our emotions. It´s the way we connect to the world outside: the objects, and animals, and plants, and absolutelly Everything that we see and touches our hearts.
If we are Humans - we Draw. It´s as simple as that.
The Black & White aesthetics continues to be very, very strong in Art History, and keeps producing incredible artworks.
Remember that these paperart works have the maximum colour contrast: black ink on pure white paper.
This Creative B&W Drawing course is divided in 4 parts:
Wrong ideas beginner artists have (copy reality or the pencil and rubber kind of drawing, for instance);
Art history and Comic book masters (Corto Maltese by Hugo Pratt, for example);
Human figures and abstract symbols (and how to merge these two visual elements);
Technique - visual composition (how to achieve your own unique creative voice and personal style).
And each 4 parts of this course has a different pratical project:
Chaotic line and human figure;
Make a perspective
Draw a mother and son
Create a simple but complete scene: figures, symbols and background
It intends to suggest new ways of creating highly engaging and interesting works with simple elements that most people think don´t belong to visual arts: lines, patterns, letters, numbers, signs...
A world of new emotions is waiting for you.
Now you will be able to create another reality - Yours!
