Conquer creative blocks by showing up daily, embracing fear as a companion, and practicing with discipline to turn setbacks into progress, not external validation.
Navigate fear as a multi-layered map from comfort to stretch and risk, recognizing imposter syndrome and common failures, then practice skill building and resilient creative work.
Confront fear and resist procrastination by recognizing the blank canvas and the white page, using small 15-minute goals or 500-word targets, and coaching yourself to start with fun, low-stakes actions.
Confront perfectionism and fear by applying four strategies: reframe fear as excitement, use the five-second rule, breathe with meditation music, and practice mindful five-senses awareness.
Train your brain with purposeful activities to spark inspiration, gather ideas everywhere using notebooks, napkins, or Trello, and design a space that balances solitude with creative collaboration.
Start small with a 30-day or 7-day challenge to build momentum, copy masters to develop muscle memory, and remix ideas into your own original style through recreation.
Seize moments of creative flow and write when inspiration arrives; protect uninterrupted time and create every day by using constraints to unlock progress toward bigger projects.
Establish rituals at the start of your creative practice to automate work and reduce fear. Treat creativity as an action, set a schedule, and track progress to sustain momentum.
Engage in daily morning pages to clear the mind and warm creativity, rewriting three pages to uncover ideas, songs, or poems for writing books and courses.
Plan weekly creative dates to visit new places alone and spark inspiration. Explore museums, art shows, parks, coffee shops, or theaters, and try classes like pottery or candle making.
Do you wish you were more creative?
Imagine the possibilities: Being able to brainstorm ideas on demand, the ability to innovate and pivot your business, finding creative solutions for your problems, as well as enjoying an overall sense of wellbeing and having more fun!
Creativity is a skill that can be learned.
In this course you will learn 4 creative habits in order to begin developing your creativity muscles. These practices don't require any previous skill, only the willingness and desire to make it part of your daily life, so that through constant repetition you'll be able to unlock your creative genius!
Now, let's address the elephant in the room:
It's not easy. When you wander outside your comfort zone, you'll feel fear and resistance.
That's why this course has 2 parts. On the 1st part you're going to understand why fear is showing up and how to calm your brain. You're also going to learn all of the ways in which it can be disguised: sometimes as procrastination, others as perfectionism. Overcoming creative blocks is an ongoing process that you'll have to learn to do if you want to live a more creative life.
I'll be sharing with you how it shows up for me and how I deal with it successfully on a daily basis, the reason that I've been able to finish so many different projects.
On the 2nd part you're going to learn different creative habits that you can pick and choose from. The idea is to try them all and keep doing those that you enjoy the most. This is like going to the gym, if you want a fit body, you have to train it; and if you want a creative mind, you have to train it also, but of course this is far more fun and enjoyable.
By the end of this course you'll know how to overcome your creative blocks and you'll be ready to begin your creative practice, and therefore unlock your creative genius and become the fullest expression of yourself!
