Create your first composite image and understand that composing means mixing images with logic to achieve a good look, then move to advanced effects for a cinematic feel.
Explore advanced image compositing and special effects, manipulating scenes to resemble high-budget Hollywood productions, including refractive and reflective liquid surfaces.
Explore graphical compositing in PaintShop Pro, expanding on earlier techniques with screen blending to create an LP cover worthy, high-end design that looks agency-grade.
Design a mini project simulating a live client brief for a rock band's Facebook banner. Prepare pixel dimensions (851 by 315) and a rough pre-visualization to invite feedback.

This particular course moves quickly and is far from generic in it’s approach.
Students who have a penchant for design and professional aspirations will find it most useful, due to it’s focused and specific nature.
As with all of our courses, there is less ‘talk’ and more ‘do’, each set of lectures is made up, using practical demonstrations that have been designed, so that our Students can work along side the lecturer at a healthy pace.

The course culminates in a ‘live brief scenario’, where students are encouraged to attack a brief, as if they were being paid for their services.
