Understanding your WHY for your organization is so important.  Have you ever read the book, "The Purpose Driven Life" by pastor Rick Warren?  Everyone on this Earth continues to search for the meaning of their life.  When employees come into work everyday, they don't just want to get through the day and the task (well some do, but that is a different story).

Employees want to understand that what they are doing has meaning, it is for a purpose, and it has a larger outcome towards something.  People in society do not want their life to be meaningless.  They are always looking for meaning in what they do.

Having a GOAL in business or in your personal life, gives you meaning in the day-to-day.

In transformation point #1, we review what is culture in an organization what it does.  We deep dive into Starbuck's culture of their organization and why it is important.

I am sure you will recognize many of the traits of the Starbucks culture when you see it.

In transformation point #2, we review what our company The Bridge Venture is all about.  We show you the info-graphic of "The Bridget" in business so you can understand the foundation and the parts of the bridge.

You must completely understand what makes up a company's culture before you can set goals.

You can never just set a goal for an organization without understanding:

1) Where did it come from and what is its legacy?

2) Where is the organization heading?

3) What is the business philosophy and ethos?

4) What is the outcome the organization is looking for?

5) Why was the organization created?

6) Who are the customers of this organization?

These are just some questions that need to help someone understand the vision, mission, strategy of the organization before then creating goals to move it forward into the future.

In transformation point #3, we review what goals are.  We then go over how setting goals affects outcomes in 4 ways inside of your organization.  This information can also help in your personal life.

Everyone should strive to have goals to manage their day-to-day at work and at home.

Transformation Point #3

In transformation point #4, we wrap things up to the finish line by reviewing how to create a good solid goal.  We also keep everyone honest in the # of goals to set for yourself or for a team.

The biggest mistake to make in business is to have too many goals.  The team and yourself will be so stressed out trying to make a little bit of them all, that not one will be fully completed and realized by the end of the year.

Try to make sure to follow through on completing one goal to the finish before moving onto another one.  Or, if you work on multiple goals at a time, that is okay, get them all to the finish line together.
