In this lesson you'll create your very own snowflake graphic in Photoshop.

Using an image from Pexels.com, we'll create a unique background. Don't forget to download the Blue Marbles image from the Downloadable content in this lecture.

Once you have an idea of what you want to build, you start creating your slide from scratch...keeping a few things in mind knowing your final product will be a style:

1. If you use the same image in more than one layer, Producer will automatically use duplicates when the Style is applied later.
2. The image you use won't matter, but the orientation will.

In this lesson, you'll also learn how to work backwards and create realistic drop shadows!

In this lesson, you'll add your snowflake and create several instances of it, falling in a realistic manner.

Following this checklist will ensure that your Slide Style will be created properly:

1. Label each layer appropriately
2. Designate Replaceable Layers
3. Add Layer Notes, when needed

Despite looking complicated, this is a simple 2 Layer Transition! In this lesson, you'll learn all the necessary steps to creating a transition. The two, most important steps are:

1. There must be NO transition times on either side of your creation slide
2. You MUST set Source and Destination layers

This is one of the most common types of transitions; a cover transition. Don't forget to download the Hot Air Balloon image from the Downloadable Content in this lecture so you can follow along!

Note: Most video transitions are "cover" transitions. I don't discuss video transitions in this course, because the video files used in the transitions are normally created in another program, such as Adobe After Effects.

This one is a bit more complex....multiple layers.....masking...adjustment effects. Don't be afraid to use that Pause and "Go Back 15 Seconds" buttons at the bottom of your screen!

We won't be creating a full template from scratch in the course (Sorry!), it would simply be too labor intensive. A Show template is simply all your slides, transitions, and music saved as a completed show. In this lesson, I'll go over all the steps necessary to save your show as a template.

Linked layers, in either a Style or Template, are simply a single image that is used more than once. ProShow will "link" those layers, so when an image is added to one layer it is automatically populated into any other layer that was linked to it. Linking does NOT pertain to Effects or Adjustments.

Matching layers, unlike Linked layers, has nothing to do with the image file and has everything to do with the layers effects! You can only Match transitional Keyframes between slides.
