Creating an AI video is getting easier. Creating a video that feels intentional, visually consistent, and tells a clear story is a different challenge.
In this course, I’ll share the practical workflow I use to create cinematic AI commercials, from the first idea to the final generated video.
Instead of focusing on one specific AI tool or a collection of “magic prompts,” we’ll look at the creative decisions behind the process: storytelling, scene design, prompting, camera language, shot selection, reference images, visual consistency, and video generation.
We’ll start with storytelling and look at why even a short commercial benefits from having a clear structure. You’ll learn a simple way to think about characters, goals, obstacles, curiosity, and payoff without turning a short ad into a complicated screenplay.
Then we’ll break down the way I approach prompts. I’ll show you a practical framework built around six elements:
Character
Environment
Action
Lighting
Camera
Style
We’ll build prompts step by step and compare how different creative decisions influence the generated result.
From there, we’ll move into cinematic camera language. We’ll explore shot types, camera angles, camera movement, perspective, and how individual shots can work together as a sequence instead of feeling like a collection of unrelated AI clips.
We’ll also talk about storyboards and when they are actually useful. I don’t believe every AI video needs a traditional storyboard, so I’ll show you how my own workflow has changed as AI video models have become more capable, and how I decide how much planning a project actually needs.
In the practical part of the course, we’ll create a complete cinematic burger commercial together from beginning to end.
You’ll see how I:
develop and refine the initial concept
use ChatGPT as a brainstorming and planning assistant
decide which visual assets and references are actually necessary
create consistent character, location, and product references
compare different AI image generation models
prepare a structured video prompt
combine multiple reference images in a single generation
generate the final commercial using Seedance
review the result and identify continuity or generation problems
regenerate individual sections when something does not work as expected
Throughout the course, I’ll also share the smaller decisions, mistakes, limitations, and practical considerations that come up during real AI production.
The tools shown in this course reflect the workflow I use at the time of recording, including ChatGPT, Syntx, AI image generation models, and Seedance. AI tools change quickly, so the goal of this course is not to memorize one interface or one model.
The goal is to understand a practical creative workflow and a way of thinking that you can adapt as new AI image and video tools appear.
You do not need a background in filmmaking, advertising, or cinematography. I explain the core concepts from the beginning, including prompting, shot types, camera movement, visual references, basic storytelling, and continuity.
If you already have experience with AI image or video generation, some of the beginner lessons can be skipped so you can focus on the parts that are most relevant to your own workflow.
This course is for creators who want to move beyond generating isolated impressive clips and start thinking about how to build complete, intentional AI videos from beginning to end.

This course uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools as part of the creative workflow demonstrated throughout the lessons.
AI was used to generate some of the visual examples, reference images, video generations, and presentation slides shown in the course.
The course itself is not AI-generated. The narration is recorded with my real voice, and all lessons, explanations, structure, examples, creative decisions, and workflow are based on my own experience and prepared, reviewed, and presented by me.
AI is part of the toolkit used in the production process, but the teaching, direction, experience, and creative choices shared in this course are my own.
