In this course, you will learn about the following features that make any environment realistic in Unity
Decent Environment
Lighting and shadows
Post Processing Effects
some movement in the scene like wind or dust
You will learn :
First, you will learn how to download and create a project in the Unity game engine
About the basics of Unity like Unity game engine windows layout, tools available in Unity, and how to perform basic Unity functions like moving a game object.
Then you will create an environment using the HDRP template and sample scene assets.
About the fog and sky volume and how to add HDRI sky to the scene.
How to alter the lighting settings in accordance with the environment.
how to add Post-processing effects.
How to create a wind shader graph for adding movement in the scene.
Make some final tweaks to create three different scenarios like sunrise, day, and night of the forest environment.
After this lecture, you will know how to download Unity software and create a project using the HDRP(High definition render pipeline) template
After this lecture, you will know How to use the unity software as a beginner. You will know about the windows layout and names of each window, tools available in unity, creating a new scene in unity, adding 3D objects, and manipulating their properties like position, rotation, and scale
After this lecture, you will be able to create an environment with trees, grass, and some small plants using the terrain in unity . You will be able to use the sample scene assets available in the HDRP template.
After this Lecture, you will be able to add a sky and fog volume to the scene, change the fog properties and also add new skies to the HDRI sky. you will be able to download the cube maps for the sky from the Unity asset store.
After this lecture, you will be able to attain the required lighting settings and set up volumetric lights for the scene.
After this lecture You will know how to add post-processing effects and edit them.
After completing this lecture you will be able to create your own Wind Shadergraph in unity to create the effects of wind in the scene
After completing this lecture you will be able to make some tweaks in the scene and create three different scenarios of the forest i.e
Sunrise
Day
Sunset
If you are Interested to create eye feasting realistic environments for your games, you have landed on the right course. This course will help you to build realistic environments in Unity using HDRP.
High-quality photo-realistic environments will always get your game to the next level giving the players a sense of realism in the games. many outstanding games have made huge hits because of the realistic graphics they offer for the players. You can also build such photo-realistic environments using Unity HDRP.
You will be using the High Definition Render Pipeline(HDRP) for this project as we have to create a high definition realistic environment, you will create an environment using the assets from the default HDRP template in unity and later add lighting, post-processing effects, and wind to the environment.
The wind in the Unity HDRP would not be working for the normal trees that are placed on the terrain, in this course you will learn to create your own wind shader which would work with HDRP and also you can control the properties of the wind like direction and speed
In this Course You Will Learn:
How to use the terrain to build an environment
Adding sky and fog volumes to create volumetric lighting
Change the lighting settings
Adding post-processing effects
Creating a shader graph for wind
