  • An open and curious heart; no prior theological training or religious background is required.

  • A willingness to slow down, reflect, and explore Scripture as a space for spiritual growth and discovery.

Description

Course 3 of The Journey of Life invites you to experience Scripture not simply as a book to study, but as a living space of encounter, reflection, and inner guidance.

In the previous course, The Voice Within, you learned to notice and trust the quiet ways God’s voice can arise within. This course gently builds on that awareness by exploring how Scripture can become one of the clearest places where that voice is recognized and discerned.

Many people read sacred texts yet feel distant, confused, or unmoved. This course offers a different approach. Rather than focusing on doctrine or debate, we explore how the Spirit brings illumination, how the heart’s posture matters, and how meaning unfolds through symbols, patterns, and reflection. Scripture becomes less about information and more about transformation.

Through guided practices, meditation, journaling, and safe discernment, you’ll learn how to slow down and “receive” the Word rather than rush through it. You’ll practice listening beneath the surface, testing insights with wisdom, and integrating what you notice into daily life.

This course does not require certainty or belief. It simply invites openness. Whether you come with faith, curiosity, or quiet longing, you are welcome here.

Course 3 also prepares you for the next stage of the journey, where we will explore the inner dynamics of flesh and soul, and how awareness shapes everyday choices and spiritual growth.

Who this course is for:

  • Christians who desire deeper spiritual discernment and a more lived experience of Scripture.
  • Seekers exploring inner guidance and how sacred texts may speak personally and meaningfully.
  • Thoughtful learners interested in spiritual growth, mindful awareness, and reflective reading practices.
