Do not let world know on FB and IG that you are now meeting your boss or some other people….this is not to be shared!

  • This is the time for observation, digestions and lots of questions. Not the time for being bold, and making suggestions etc

  • Each company has its own DNA, its own culture, its own way of doing things and the way they talk and use

  • This is the most critical time as it will shape how other people see you.

    • Be there before the time and observe others behaviour, but do not copy right away. Be polite and open

    • Smile

    • Introduce yourself

    • Be strong and confident but not arrogant

    • Admit if you do not know something. Do not say “yes” if the answer is actually “No”.

    • Ask good questions

  • This is the time for listening and questions to bet the job done. Not to criticise or make already improvement suggestions

    • Bring always something to write and write down everything

  • Do not start talking with anyone about anyone else in the company

    • Go for lunch with your peers and listen to the conversation. Ad only a little bit and you may ask questions about acronyms and names

    • Learn the Lingua France of your company

      • Write down all acronyms. You will be expected to know them very quick
