As a PhD in international law Scott has spent a number of years working in international sustainable development (SD) and climate change adaptation and mitigation projects around the world - and within all five major sectors (e.g., public, private, IO, NGO, and academic). He specializes in a wide range of important areas, including: ESG; CSR; SDS; Policy Frameworks; Life Cycle Analysis; Sustainable Supply Chains; AI Governance; Conflict Resolution; Pathways to Net Zero; Clean Energy Infrastructure; Clean Tech; Risk Management; Project Management; Climate Litigation; Circular Economies, and more. This work has taken place: in universities as a professor; with the feds as a researcher, report writer and advisor; with tech multinationals as a manager and advisor; and with NGOs and international organizations as an executive director and project lead. The United Nations has formally honored his work and he continues to speak at UN conferences on a variety of SD, climate, and governance issues around the world. He has published works and created a number of comprehensive, dedicated courses to help everyone gain a thorough and accessible understanding of what global sustainable development and climate change really is and how to most effectively and thoughtfully contend with important sustainable development and climate issues.
