Welcome to Section 1 of the 'Interview for Success' course. This section provides an insight into what each of the main interview styles, used around the world, involves.

An overview of what is involved in a 'Behavioural Competency' interview. These interviews are often called a 'Behavioral Interview' or a 'Competency Interview'. It just depends on where you live in the world. Most American companies refer to it as a 'Behavioral Interview'. Whereas in the UK and Ireland they tend to call them 'Competency Interviews', but the increase in American Technology companies in these locations means the phrase Behavioural Interview is becoming more popular.

Video and digital interviews have grown massively in the last few years but none more so than during the Covid-19 pandemic.
