    This video introduces the learners to the basics of computers. It tells them what is a computer, what is an IPO cycle, what are the various input and output devices, and what are the advantages and disadvantages of computers.

Description

This course is your young students studying in class two who wish to understand computers better.

1. It starts from computer basics and teaches about the IPO cycle,
2. Application of computer in all walks of life including teaching and learning, business, shops, banks, schools, airports bus-stations, train-stations, drawing and printing,
3. Input-output devices tell us how these devices provide various kinds of input e.g. alphabetic, numeric, file-input, bio metric input, scanned input, etc to computer. It also talks about output devices including printer, monitor speaker. We also looked at primary and secondary memory.
4. keyboard special keys tell us how input is given to computer using individual and combination of keys. We discussed about ctrl key combination like ctrl+s, ctrl+c, ctrl+v. We discussed about alt key combinations like alt+tab, ctrl+tab, ctrl+at+del. We discussed about window key combinations like win+d, win+L, win+r,
5. using mouse to drag and drop and mouse as a pointing device, various types of mouse,
6. how to use the ms-paint application for drawing, effectively using the tools of ms-paint including fill with colour and colour picker
7. how to use ms word-pad to type, insert pictures in word pad etc.
8. Lastly we try to explain file management and how to do file management.
