Description
The CompuRead Multisensory Reading Program is a series of seven courses. Level 1, is the basics of the reading process and teaches all the letters of the English alphabet, how they are written, what they sound like, how they're used in making words and sentences and a host of other aspects needed for the young student.
Level 1 is for the preschool and kindergarten child and teaches all the needed reading and writing skills for a successful entrance into kindergarten. This level has 12 stories, each with three modules broken down into easily managed sections a parent and child can study.
Each module has its own video and instructions to successfully accomplish the activities leading to fluent reading and writing.
Module 1 - (Steps 1-3) introduces the child to the background of the story. This provides needed information leading up to the story and helps the child to more fully understand what the story is all about.
Module 2 - (Steps 4-6) takes a deep dive into the many reading activities needed to become a successful reader; phonics, writing, spelling, vocabulary and speaking.
Module 3 - (Steps 7-9) works with Science, Story Mapping and activities to be accomplished in the home with parents and siblings.
All CompuRead levels and modules are highly organized and systematic in its presentation of needed reading skills. It provides a daily framework for your child or student to follow.
