EXAM SIMULATOR, NOT A VIDEO COURSE. Every minute here is spent on exam-style questions: timed like the real exam and reviewed option by option. Use it after you have studied, to find out whether you are ready and exactly where you would lose marks.
WHY THESE EXAMS
5 full length practice exams, 350 original questions, each exam 70 questions in 60 minutes with a 72 percent pass mark to aim for, the same shape as the real FC0-U71 exam.
Every answer option explained, not only the correct one, with a key takeaway and a link to the CompTIA objectives or the vendor documentation behind the question.
Every question tagged with its exam domain, so you see exactly where you lose marks.
Scenario questions with exhibits: device and network diagrams, spreadsheet and database tables, troubleshooting charts you read before choosing, the way you read a help desk ticket at work.
Two ways to study: Exam mode, timed and scored, or Practice mode, untimed, where you check each answer as you go and can draw questions from one domain only.
WHAT THIS IS NOT. This course is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by CompTIA. CompTIA and Tech+ are trademarks of CompTIA, Inc. Every question was written from the publicly available exam objectives and vendor documentation. Nothing is copied from the real exam or from anyone else's practice tests.
WHAT YOU GET. Questions follow the six domains of the official FC0-U71 objectives: IT Concepts and Terminology, Infrastructure, Applications and Software, Software Development Concepts, Data and Database Fundamentals, and Security. The five exams build on each other: the first covers the objectives evenly, the middle three go deeper into the areas candidates most often confuse (units and notation, storage versus memory, wired versus wireless infrastructure, operating system and application types, programming concepts, database structures, and security basics such as authentication, encryption and safe browsing), and the last is a harder mixed review.
HOW THE QUESTIONS ARE WRITTEN. Most questions put you in a situation a new technician actually faces: a user whose laptop will not connect, a small office choosing a backup method, a spreadsheet that needs a formula, a database that needs a key. You read the scenario, the table or the diagram, then choose the explanation or the next step, the way the exam asks.
WHO THIS IS FOR. Students, career changers and new IT staff preparing for the CompTIA Tech+ exam who want a realistic test of readiness. No prior certification is required, just like the real exam.
If you find a question you think is wrong, post in the Q&A with the question code shown at the end of its explanation. Every report is checked against the CompTIA objectives and fixed if needed.
