Dr. Nasser Alaeddine is a highly experienced cybersecurity and IT expert with more than 20 years of practical experience managing, developing, and leading IT services for numerous companies and universities. He has taught various cybersecurity courses for over 12 years, specifically in a master's degree program, providing both academic and practical insights.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University (SMU), as well as certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Project Management Professional (PMP). Additionally, he holds the SANS Coin for Auditing and Monitoring Networks, Perimeters, and Systems, as well as for the Security Leadership Essentials for Managers.
Dr. Alaeddine has published several papers on software quality and the innovative use of educational technology in international conferences. As a passionate educator, he is enthusiastic about sharing this wealth of knowledge and experience to empower students with the tools and understanding needed to protect themselves and their organizations from cyber threats.
