Pixel Mystique is an indie game development studio, co-founded by Adam Zainudin. Adam has extensive experience as a game designer and producer in the games industry and has worked on PC, mobile and tablet games.
There were many instances where Adam had to take on the leadership role and facilitate game development teams consisting of concept artists, 3D artists, animators, programmers and other game designers which all have their own concerns. This gave Adam a better understanding of the entire game development process and as a result, Adam explored various communication techniques and processes to ensure efficiency while maintaining the vision of the product.
Apart from that, Adam has years of experience working in the corporate world in other industries as a Product Manager. He was involved with non-gaming projects such as web and mobile app development. As a Product Manager, he had to juggle between various requests and features that: 1) brings value to the customers, 2) increases revenue, 3) reduces costs. Constant stakeholder management was a norm in these situations. As these companies were going through digital transformation, Adam had exposure to various digital project management and communication tools such as JIRA, Slack, Confluence and Trello. From there, he obtained experience with waterfall and agile scrum methodologies.
Today, Adam is focused on Pixel Mystique and is building his own game called "What the Hex". He is experimenting with various online marketing and passive income strategies as he builds his audience and raise funding while providing value to them by sharing his knowledge and experience.
