Learn occupational health and safety management and the fundamentals of auditing — through OHSAS 18001, the standard that defined health and safety management systems worldwide for two decades.

A note on currency, because you deserve a straight answer before enrolling: OHSAS 18001 has been replaced by ISO 45001 as the current international standard, and organizations no longer certify to it. What has not changed is almost everything this course teaches — hazard identification and risk assessment, legal compliance, emergency preparedness, worker consultation, incident investigation, and the principles and practice of auditing a management system. These are the foundations of every health and safety system, including ISO 45001, which kept the large majority of OHSAS 18001's substance. This course remains a solid, accessible entry into health and safety auditing; for the current standard's specific requirements, my ISO 45001 course is the companion.
