The ‘Graphic Design’ has evolved greatly throughout history.
The first forms of graphics, ‘signs’, date back to prehistoric man.
With the advent of printing and typography, ‘Graphic Design’ underwent a major transformation because until then, books were written by hand.
The appearance of the Apple computer in the 1980s represented another major change that would lead up to the current digital age.
The design of a logo/logotype can be very simple and doesn’t require great skills, but some creativity is necessary. A logo must necessarily be fresh, original, innovative and easy to assimilate. The customer must be able to perceive the message coming from the brand, in the right way.
Create as many ideas as you can, the important thing is that they all have a logical thread so place them in their sector and then choose the winning idea!
The design of the corporate identity is the first fundamental step for a professional presentation of a logo/logotype. It’s important to study all its developments in detail. A format must be presented to the client in which all declinations of the logo itself must be depicted. The client needs to be able to visualise his logo in all creative developments immediately.
The format must be very clear and simple in its structure.
Promote through your image!
The design of a flyer makes it possible to advertise a business or shop, its services in a direct and effective manner.
The classic format is 15 x 21 cm, but other formats can also be used, either smaller or larger depending on the customer’s needs.
Normally both sides are used with the same image or the other side with other content related to the same service.
The design of a leaflet or brochure makes it possible to represent a service that a business or company wants to advertise. The classic leaflet is with two leaves, but it can also be made with three or four leaves.
The cover must be very impactful, with an effective headline accompanied by an explanatory photo or an efficient and incisive drawing.
Inside, the service information must be concise, but at the same time create curiosity in the reader.
Font design can seem complicated and unachievable. In reality, it always starts with an idea that is then developed and implemented through specific software that allows the font to be distributed on the most important platforms.
The initial brief is fundamental to the creation of a valid and winning idea that will allow the creation of a unique and original typeface over time.
The planning of an advertising campaign must enable the achievement of one goal: to strengthen the company’s image and, above all, to position it higher than the competition.
These steps are fundamental to the right choice and effective headline, slogan and eye-catching image.
Designing a book requires a lot of attention especially in the first steps.
It's crucial, initially, to choose the format of the book.
The cover must be very winning and effective and above all draw curiosity to the reader. If the book, is part of a series, it will have to follow certain canons such as the format and cage for the internal text already outlined.
I have been teaching people of all ages for at least 20 years, but I have had the greatest professional and human satisfaction with young graphic designers.
This is why I really like it, putting my experience at the service of all the people who want to learn and grow professionally. For this platform, I created the "complete graphic design course" made up of 10 essential lessons, so that every person, of any age, can enter this world and be able to stimulate their creativity in the right way.
Creativity is useful in any sector and allows you to have a different vision of things. Sometimes creativity is hidden, but bringing it out is easier than you might imagine.
All people of any age can be the 'true protagonists' of the course, but above all participation in this "Lab" is not reserved only for those who know how to draw. On the contrary, all those people who do not have a great talent for drawing manage to have a great creative process.
This way everyone will be able to carry out projects that perhaps not even they themselves can imagine. "Nothing is impossible" is our motto!!! It will be the growth of their skills that will obviously allow them to create unique projects that will leave everyone, even themselves, speechless!
