Description
Most of a leader's role involves communicating downward with their team, laterally with their peers, as well as upward with the higher management. The course aims to equip the learners with fundamental communication skills that every leader needs to attain in order to become successful in their role. The intended audience of this course comprises of new leaders who have recently joined a managerial rank, as well as the professionals who are aiming to wear a leadership hat as the next step in their career development journey.
The theme of communication has been selected for a very good reason for this course. Once a professional joins leadership cadre, their technical skills start becoming less relevant and the focus shifts on their leadership competencies. It only makes sense for emerging leaders to hone a skill that they will now be using most of the time, i.e., communication. The course addresses the fundamental concepts in communication, and is intended to build a strong leadership foundation for a learner and help them become an effective leader. As discussed in the course, one cannot become a leader without being open to learning. And this course will help you precisely do that - learning the skills to become a leader you want to be.
Who this course is for:
- Emerging leaders including professionals new to managerial positions as well as those who are aiming to climb up on a leadership rung in their career..
