In this lecture I present myself and I tell you a little bit about myself. This way you will learn the vocabulary, verbs and expressions needed to introduce yourself in Spanish.
In this video lecture I speak of what I do daily, so you can see how to speak about daily activities.
At the end of this video you will find a text with blanks. One very good exercise when learning a language is to guess what is said by listening carefully, after having studied the grammar of that content.
Do you want to know what I do on the weekends? Here I will tell you a little bit about it.
By listening you will learn the verbs and expressions used. Then you will find the grammar review in the study material, to learn the conjugation in the present tense, verbs of activities and time expressions.
In this lecture I will describe my neighbourhood a bit. I will present the verbs used to describe places and to say where things are. The resources presented in this one and the following lectures of this section are very useful to describe things in general and to describe places and say what there is in a specific place.

Learn the skills to communicate with Spanish speakers all over the world
It is very likely that you already know some Spanish speakers. And also that you have already tried to communicate with them a couple of times. In this course you will get the right level to communicate and in case you know some basics, you will improve your level.
Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world. Learning Spanish is a great investment as a way to communicate and create bonds with regions that are experiencing a fast growth and that are becoming more and more determinant in the world´s development. Studying Spanish is an amazing adventure as well, thanks to the cultural diversity that the different Spanish speaking countries possess.
Structure of the course
This course is addressed to beginners and also to people that already know some basic expressions and words in Spanish.
The course is structured with different types of resources: videos to present the content and examples, grammar review documents to download, listening exercises and an exam at the end of each section. This varied content helps the learning process and makes it more motivating.
If you take this course you will learn to speak and understand Spanish through the Function Method: you will learn all the necessary resources to speak about many daily and common subjects, and you will speak and listen to spoken language from the first day of the course. You will also be learning new vocabulary and verbs throughout the process, as well as the necessary grammar.
The time expected to complete the course, based on 1-2 sections per week and a minimum or two hours study time per section, is between 2 and 3 months and 30 - 35 hours study in total.
