In this college I describe the supplies I've used and why they are the preferred ones, and some alternatives.

In this college the next basic techniques will be learned. You will experience how easy it is to work on sanded paper, how to put lights over darks , how to glaze and how to fix mistakes.

In this class you can follow me and create the first blurry layer on the background. Not at all difficult on this surface. So let's have some fun!

In this class we will start with the first layer on the petals, don't work too detailed. It' s important to get the right color saturation first. This video shows the first part in real time, but you can always speed the video up or slow it down bij using the button in the left corner.

I've added these timelapsed videos as background information for you. If you're stuck, you can see how I did these parts. Don't be affraid to choose your own colors instead of mine. There are several ways to achieve the same result.

In this layer you will intensify the background colors and adjust them , this will make them look more interesting. I've used some additional colors, it's in the class description.

In this video I'll show you how I do the last touch ups on the flower. I darken my darks a little, I lighten my lights a little, I check my values by using black and white photographs,  I put in the last details and I'll show you how I've used the mixture of titanium white powder with the touch up texture. In the class materials there is a photograph of the final result. If you're totally satisfied with your drawing, you can spray it with the final fixative.
