Whether you're just starting out or feel like you know color, we can always learn something new (or at least expand our knowledge) of color theory. This course covers the color wheel, mixing CMYK colors, colors that compliment each other, portraits, etc. You will learn about primary vs. secondary vs. tertiary colors.
In this course, you will learn & get
an understanding of the color wheel
primary and secondary colors
the color wheel including opposites on color wheel equal grey
dark values/black vs white; greys and how it affects color strength
CMYK colors - you can get any color you can imagine
Who this course is for:
- Beginner and intermediate artists
Mike studied at Northern Illinois, majored as a fine art major in design and painting.
After school, he moved to Evanston Illinois, and help open an Art Store, as well did commercial, graphic, and portrait commissions. Mike moved to Florida in 1988, and become an independent art materials representative, having some of the most well-respected brands in his portfolio of companies, serviced accounts like Art Institutes, Savannah College of Art and Design, and Ringling School of Art and Design. Working with instructors throughout the Southeast.
Mike has been doing workshops, and classes throughout the southeast, and now devoted his time to full-time teaching, workshops, etc.
In addition to doing commissions, portraits are his specialty.
