All employers who employ one or more part-time / casual / temporary or full-time employees for the purpose of his / her business / farming / organization’s activities must register with the Compensation Fund. Injuries or illnesses contracted at work may become costly to treat and resolve, and not all employees will always have the means to cover these costs. It might also result in these employees not being able to work, which means that the employee also might not receive any income during the time they are taking off to recover.
