Description
In this class you will learn how to paint a simple Buddha using coffee. The class is designed in such a way that both beginners and professional artists can enjoy a new medium of painting.
If you are planning to start watercolors , definitely try this class as coffee painting is so similar to watercolors.
As a bonus lesson I have added a video on how to to add gold liner to your coffee painting to give a rustic look and a time-lapse video on how to make bookmarks with leftover coffee “paint”.

Hi all. I am Jayasree, an art teacher , full time artist and mom, originally from India and now based in London.
After quitting my corporate job as a graphic designer when my daughter was born 8 years ago, I started working as an art teacher in a school in Bangalore. That’s when I realized teaching is my passion and gives me so much happiness and fulfillment. Since then, I have conducted numerous workshops for adults and students in Bangalore, Berlin and London.
Two years ago my family and I did a lot of travelling. I got really enchanted by the magical beauty and variety of colours of the different places we visited. This inspired me to pursue courses in drawing and painting from ESDIP Berlin and Berlin Summer University of Arts which further enhanced my knowledge of art and teaching technique.
I am an absolute lover of all mediums whether it is the transparency of watercolours, vibrancy of acrylics, realism in oils or the rustic monochromatic tones of coffee painting. Check my insta and you’ll see a kaleidoscopic mess- @jayasree.kaimal.
Currently, I do commissioned works and conduct classes and workshops for children and adults online.
I believe with constant practice and passion anybody can learn to draw and paint.
