CMV Air Brakes Training (CDL/ CLP Test Prep)

The vast majority of tractor trailers, school buses, dump trucks, garbage trucks, propane trucks, tanker trucks, flatbed trucks, concrete trucks, and heavy and medium duty trucks are equipped with air brakes. In order to receive a CDL with air brakes you must pass the air brake knowledge written test at your state's department of motor vehicles (DMV/ BMV/ SOS/ MVD). This training will prepare you for the knowledge test and give you the knowledge and core competencies necessary to operate trucks with air brakes. This training is utilized by the military, school districts, truck driving schools, and trucking companies across the country ensuring their driver's are knowledgeable and proficient in operating CMV's with air brakes.

Topics covered throughout the training includes: service brakes, parking brakes, emergency brakes, dual air brake systems, air gauges, s-cam drum brakes, tractor protection valves, brake lag, low air pressure warning devices, brake drums, air compressors, air brake system leaks, skids/ emergency braking techniques, anti-locking braking systems on air brake equipped vehicles, spring brakes, caging a brake, air dryer integrated system, tractor protection valve, trailer brakes, tractor protection valve, trailer hand valve, steep downgrades, and much more.

This training is designed for individuals that are looking to get a commercial driver's license and need to pass the air brake endorsement test.  After successfully completing this training you will be able to easily pass the DMV air brake knowledge test at your State's DMV (BMV, SOS, MVD, DOS).
