Course Summary
This course provides information that business managers require before they embark on their Cloud adoption journey. The selective information in this course can usually be obtained by doing many technical Cloud courses to accumulate all the snippets of information that is actually intended for the business manager to make the correct decision. This course aims to summarise all those snippets of information for the business manager who is not always inclined to go do all those technical courses.
The course also offers a broad overview of organisational impacts that Cloud adoption brings - and how to prepare for the impact. It covers in particular, a very handy Cloud adoption framework, (downloadable, editable) and a Cloud capability model that will assist with building Cloud capabilities in an organisation and assists the business manager to decide how much tech-knowledge will be required when training the various roles-types in an organisation.
This course also lays out an easy approach to adopt the trusted Cloud security practices to ensure safe and secure operations in the Cloud.
There are a few quizzes sprinkled throughout the course to help the learner remain attentive.
As part of the lectures there are a few very helpful downloadable resources such as the Exseso Cloud Adoption framework that provides a step-by-step roadmap on the key activities required for a Cloud adoption project.
