Description
In April 2024, Lockie appeared in Longmont Colorado to teach a clinic in Emotional Horsemanship.
This was the second clinic for this host. The hosts are Hatha Equus, a team of trainers by the name of Elizabeth and Giorgia, who run their operation out of a place called Wildsong Ranch, a paddock paradise boarding barn.
This was the clinic structure.
Day 1, Thursday: A One Day Clinic for folks new to Emotional Horsemanship (FILMED)
Day 2, Friday: Day 1 of a Two Day Clinic for folks who are returning and familiar with Emotional Horsemanship (FILMED)
Day 3, Saturday: Day 2 of a Two Day Clinic for folks who are returning and familiar with Emotional Horsemanship (NOT FILMED)
Day 4, Sunday: Private Lessons for the Two-Day clinic folks (NOT FILMED)
What you will see in this course is the Thursday and Friday recordings.
The Saturday and Sunday sessions will be summarised by Lockie in this course as he explains what occurred in retrospect. There are so many things happening during a clinic, it is important to hear direct from the clinician, what the plan was, is and is always going to be, how the clinic was prepared and what you might expect if you attended a clinic in the future.
We hope that this course gives you an intimate insight into what an EH clinic looks like.

Instructor
I am a horse trainer, equestrian performance coach, international clinician and hoof care provider living in Spain.
I am Australian by birth, and spent all my adult life in Europe. My previous career as a professional dancer gave me a powerful empathetic insight into the lives that many horses live as;
-Creatures of movement
-Without a voice
-Forced to perform under stress, duress and pain
-The importance of movement expression
-The connection between movement and emotion
-How important our feet are to our physiological and emotional well being
My professional certification in Horse Training, Rider Instruction, Groundwork and Hoofcare was in Poland at a unique school that always placed the horse first.
Since then my research and professional experiences has continued to expand my repertoire of training practises and theoretical principals.
Emotional Horsemanship online course is a introduction into this approach.
