Linked in the resources is the FULL course PDF containing supporting information and links for each module.
For Windows users only, please skip to the next lecture if you're on Apple OS / Mac.
This lesson contains the installation commands we'll run through in this video, so that you can just copy/paste them instead of typing.
You can also download them as PDF file from the resources in this lecture.
These are all installed in our global VS Code folder (we'll come to what that means later).
Run these in order and if you hit any roadblocks, raise a question in the forum and we'll get back to you ASAP! Thank you.
These instructions are designed for someone who's never opened Visual Studio Code (VS Code) before. If you have used it already, when you try to re-install the packages it may just give you a message that they've already been installed!

For the upcoming lectures we will create some files and setup. If you'd rather just open the files that have already been created - download the folder (claude-code-demo.zip) and open the folder inside VS Code - this includes everything we run through in the next modules.
Each lecture has it's own PDF resource attached to the lecture, or just download the FULL COURSE RESOURCES PDF for the full resources.

Build a complete social media carousel system with AI generated images and text, secure user data, a dashboard, and Stripe payments using Cloud Code and N8n workflows.
Explore how the NAN workflow automation platform powers a pre-built backend that generates LinkedIn carousels from an air table database, using draft post buttons and showcasing consistent outputs.
Visualize and build production-ready n8n workflows in Claude Code by leveraging the MCP server and Claude skills for validation, bug handling, and context-aware actions with $json, $node, and webhook data.
Learn how Claude code integrates with Visual Studio Code to automate coding tasks, run and verify code, and orchestrate the GSD brains for backend workflows.
Deploy the get -- done (GSD) framework to convert vibe coding into phased planning with Claude code, context management, and structured waves of execution and verification on GitHub-backed documents.
Set up GitHub to save every change in a repository, push updates automatically with the GSD framework, then deploy a live site on versell.com after establishing an Anthropic account.
A Quick Note on upcoming n8n lectures:
We're about to start talking about n8n concepts, all of these lectures are optional. If you would like to take this course extension then I recommend running through SECTION 9: AI Automation & n8n Mastery (OPTIONAL) of the course to learn the n8n fundamentals, and then revisit Lecture 32 which talks through the concepts.
N8N lectures are optional — we use it here because we believe it's a powerful combination with Claude Code. If you are not interested with N8N, no worries! You can simply ask Claude Code to build this part of the workflow (the LinkedIn carousel generation) entirely in code. You can even paste in our n8n workflow and ask Claude Code to analyze exactly what it's doing and replicate that logic programmatically. On the other hand, if you do want to use n8n, we've included a pre-made workflow that you can import and start using right away.
Learn to install and use the GSD framework in Cloud Code workflows, set up MCPs and skills, and navigate project discovery with VS Code, Cloud Code, and global NPX deployments.
Initialize a new project with the slash gsd commands, create markdown containers like project.md and requirements.md, and manage planning phases, roadmap, and milestones.
Guide students through a planning workflow that generates requirements and goals from detailed questioning. Build a multi-user SaaS carousel creator with Superbase, Stripe, templates, and NAN workflow on Vercel.
Architect a SaaS that turns ideas into ready-to-post LinkedIn carousels in one click, integrating authentication, brand management, carousel generation, and tiered billing, guided by a comprehensive requirements plan.
Develop a foundation for authentication in a Next.js 15 project using Supabase, outlining planning, research, and execution of login, signup, reset, and dashboard shell.
Execute the phase to generate code, expand the left-hand view, and complete product setup, landing pages, and the dashboard, then verify phase one work before advancing.
Test the landing page, verifying the Carousel Creator logo, header, navigation, and sign-in and sign-up flows across responsive layouts, and validate email and password errors in the login process.
Plan phase two focuses on data management and brand profiles; users create, edit, switch, and delete brands with attributes like name, colors, voice, product, audience, cta, and a template library.
Explore verify user data logic in a UAT workflow, from npm run dev on localhost:3000 and signing in to a dashboard, to creating brands, validating fields, seeding templates, and troubleshooting.
Learn how to plan and execute phase three within the GSD framework using quick commands, verify five PAC plans, and update the roadmap with progress and verification notes.
Queue messages to enable sequential execution of phases, running phase four while phase three is verified in the background. Review phase three plans before verification to speed up the process.
Explore end-to-end generation from idea to results display with the NAN workflow, human verification, connecting to existing NAN systems, brands with different products and audiences, and slide navigation.
Integrate usage tracking with Stripe payments by wiring webhooks to update access, credits, and subscriptions after checkout, while handling upgrades, cancellations, and failed payments with automated notifications and reliable updates.

Configure and debug an n8n workflow by replacing placeholder URLs with real hosted URLs from Airtable and ImagePB, ensuring templates and image styles load correctly.
Learn to build real AI automations for businesses using no-code, visual drag-and-drop blocks, and two practical workflows with NAN 2.0 that beat ChatGPT.
Master workflow design essentials in NAN 2.0, including left-to-right node flow, synchronous execution, data transformation, branching with conditions and switches, and publishing workflows with external triggers.
Explore NAN's AI integration using a basic llm chain and agent workflows, defining prompts, system messages, and structured json outputs across models via OpenRouter.
Learn how to manipulate JSON data using set nodes, objects and arrays, extract dynamic fields with dot and brackets notation, and understand indexing and nested structures for multiple contacts.
Automate social media content with an automation workflow by building a 20-minute process that generates five ideas from content you like and saves posts to a Google Sheet.
Explore what's possible with n8n through the 2.0 release, connecting automation powered by artificial intelligence to your calendar, Gmail drafts, and other apps to streamline workflows.
Integrate Stripe webhooks to update the database on upgrade payments, grant access and credits, support subscription management and cancellation, and verify the AI generation pipeline and phase six archival workflow.
Troubleshoot and configure Stripe webhooks to connect payments to usage by routing events to your local host, retrieve the webhook signing secret, and load it into .env.local.
