Explore how cloud works in plain language, including why it invents facts and drifts conversations. Learn the platform's three surfaces—memory, skills, and code execution—and how connectors reach your data.
The one simple picture that explains invented facts, drifting conversations, and why model choice matters (with no maths and no coding).
Meet the three core surfaces you will work in every day, what each one is built for, and the signal that a task has outgrown a plain chat.
Three features that quietly change how much work Claude can carry for you, explained in plain terms with the controls you should know about.
What a connector is, how Claude reaches your real business data, and the access rules that apply the moment you switch one on.
A screen walkthrough of the Claude interface, showing where chats, Projects, artifacts, memory, and connectors actually live before you start using them.
A hands-on demo of Claude Artifacts, building a meeting cost calculator with team roles from the first prompt, then adding a currency selector and brand colors through in-place edits, before publishing it as a shareable link.
A hands-on demo of Claude's memory. Save one real detail in a chat, then open a brand new chat and watch Claude recall it on its own, without you repeating yourself. See the Saved memory and Recalled memory labels in action, and where to review or delete what Claude remembers.
Watch Claude turn a messy quarterly sales report into a working dashboard. We extract the numbers, run real calculations with code execution, build an interactive artifact you can reuse next quarter, and then check every figure against the source.
Claude platform essentials explains how cloud predicts text from learned patterns rather than retrieving facts, so a confident answer can be wrong. It covers tokens, context window, and memory.
Learn to describe work clearly for a colleague like Claude, using a six-block checklist to build strong business prompts and apply decomposition and iteration across analysis, research, drafting, and brainstorming.
What separates casual prompting from professional prompting, and why clear specification beats clever wording every time.
The six building blocks of a reliable prompt, what each one prevents, and a worked example showing the difference they make.
How to break a large request into ordered steps Claude can complete well, and how to tell when one prompt is carrying too much.
How to break a large request into ordered steps Claude can complete well, and how to tell when one prompt is carrying too much.
Why analysis, research, drafting, and brainstorming each need different instructions, and what to change for each one.
Watch a hands-on demo that turns a vague client request into a precise delay email prompt through rounds, clarifying questions, and reusable prompt templates to boost productivity.
Detail prompts with six blocks: role, task, context, constraints, format, and examples to drive output quality. Use task decomposition and iterative corrections to translate a business objective into clear instructions.
Master a 3-pass review—completeness, accuracy, and assumptions—to decide if a draft is fit to use, and apply practical verification while recognizing hallucination, inconsistency, and bias.
Why checking output is the largest domain on the exam, and the shift in mindset that separates a trusted Associate from a fast one.
A three pass review that catches missing requirements, unverified claims, and the assumptions Claude quietly made on your behalf.
The warning signs of invented detail, internal contradiction, and skewed framing, and where each one tends to hide in a good looking draft.
Practical ways to confirm the claims you marked, including source checking, cross-prompting, and using search without trusting it blindly.
Three questions that tell you when your own check is enough and when another person has to see the work before it goes out.
Analyze hallucination, inconsistency, and bias in an internal cloud migration report. Demonstrate verifying totals, revealing a mismatch: $42,000 vs $40,500, with $19,500 and $21,000 from east and west.
Achieve Claude output accuracy through three separate passes, focusing on completeness, accuracy, and assumptions, with verification, citations, and attention to hallucinations, bias, and primary sources.
Judge usability over correctness and adapt messages without changing substance; compare drafts using criteria, choose output formats for reader action, and curate reusable results.
Turn one verified draft into versions that fit an executive, a client, and a technical colleague, without letting the facts drift.
A simple scoring method for judging two Claude drafts against real criteria, instead of picking the one that just sounds nicer.
Inline answer, artifact, downloadable file, or structured data. How to pick the shape that fits what the reader has to do next.
Simple habits for saving, naming, and reusing your best prompts and outputs, so your work becomes a team asset instead of a pile of chats.
Covers the Output Evaluation and Validation domain. Take one internal report, adapt it for three different readers, then check the external version for anything that should not leave the building.
Refine and format Claude outputs by prioritizing reader profile and verified numbers, and compare drafts using explicit requirements and non-negotiable criteria to decide the final version.
A practical decision guide for picking the right place to do the work, with the signals that point to a chat, a Project, research mode, or an artifact.
What the Claude model tiers are, how they differ in speed, cost, and reasoning depth, and which one sits behind the work you do every day.
A three question test that points you to the right model tier in seconds, and why the most capable option is often the wrong answer.
How context limits show up in daily work, what quietly fills them, and how Claude and Projects handle information that will not fit.
A clear decision rule for what to do when a conversation has grown too long, and how to carry context forward without repeating yourself.
choose the right Claude product and model tier, such as haiku, sonnet, and opus, by balancing reasoning depth, speed, and cost, then manage context with chat, artifacts, and retrieval.
How to look at a real process and spot the tasks where Claude adds genuine value, plus the ones you should leave alone.
How to structure research, planning, and analysis work so the result is solid enough to base a real decision on.
How to use Claude as a thinking partner while designing something new, and how to keep the decision firmly yours.
Two ways to bring Claude into a process you already run, the four questions that tell you which one fits, and how to make the change survive without you.
How to explain what Claude gives your team and what it cannot promise, in language a manager or client actually trusts.
Run a real research task end to end: how to scope the brief, what Claude gathers, and how to check the report before you put your name on it.
Start from painful, repetitive work and embed Claude into workflows. Prioritize information-based tasks with clear inputs and outputs, test manually, and measure value in hours saved.
Learn to create a well-built project with three essential parts, from proper setup to durable instructions and connectors, reinforced by a hands-on demo and downloadable resources.
The difference between an empty Project and a configured one, the three parts every good Project has, and the test that tells you it works.
How to write the project instructions that shape every conversation in a Project, and why most of them fail on the same three mistakes.
Which files earn a place in project knowledge, how to prepare them so they actually get used, and what to take out.
How connectors reach your live data, what the permission model actually guarantees, and the checks to run before you connect anything.
Why a good Project quietly decays, what to check and when, and how to keep it trustworthy after the person who built it has moved on.
A full Project built on screen, instructions, files, and live tests, showing exactly what a configured Project catches that a plain chat misses.
A hands-on demo of the Google Drive connector. See how Claude reads a live file straight from Drive, catches a policy update our earlier Project couldn't see, and how to link a live Google Doc directly into Project Files for setups that never go stale.
A well-built project has a defined job, instructions, and knowledge; past chats require search, so configuration must store the work’s dependencies, and one project per repeatable job.
Where Claude belongs in business work, which uses are ruled out completely, and which ones are allowed only with named safeguards in place.
How to recognise data that needs protecting, how to strip it without losing the analysis, and what actually happens to what you send.
A short tour of Claude's privacy settings. See what Anthropic does with your chats, how long your data is kept, and which controls you own. We also look at the settings most people forget: shared chats, shared artifacts, and uploaded files.
How company rules, approvals and admin controls shape what you may do with Claude, and what to do when no policy exists yet.
The judgement calls that sit above the rules: who is accountable for an output, how unfairness scales, and when to tell people that Claude was involved.
How to recognise work that has grown past your scope, who to hand it to, and how to hand it over so the next person can start immediately.
Explore responsible use, risk assessment, and AI governance through layered policies, data privacy practices, and disclosure standards, with escalation, review, and EU AI Act guidance.
The four reasons a Claude output fails, and how to tell which one you are looking at before you change anything.
A five step routine that finds the cause of a bad output in minutes, in an order that saves you from guessing.
How to tell whether a change actually improved your work, and where the best feedback is already waiting for you.
Where the real waste hides in AI-assisted work, which dial to turn, and the one saving you should never make.
Identify and fix failed outputs by diagnosing prompt, context, model choice, and task fit. Change one variable at a time, test in fresh conversations, and verify improvements.

Do you want to pass the Claude Certified Associate, Foundations (CCAO-F) exam on your first try and actually become the person at work who gets real results out of Claude?
This course is designed to get you there.
My name is Vladimir, and I'll be your instructor. I hold 10 cloud and AI certifications, including the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Generative AI Leader, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, AWS Certified Generative AI Developer Professional, and the Project Management Professional (PMP).
I work with AI tools every day, and I've seen the gap between people who "use AI" and people who get dependable, business-grade output from it. That gap is exactly what this exam measures.
I've been teaching online for 10 years and have helped thousands of students earn their certifications. Now, I'm here to help you do the same.
By the end of the course, you will be ready to sit the official Claude Certified Associate, Foundations exam, and you will know how to get dependable output from Claude at work.
You will write prompts that work, using task decomposition, structured instructions and iteration, adapted to the task type: analysis, research, drafting or brainstorming. You will evaluate and validate Claude's output with confidence, spotting hallucinations, inconsistencies and bias, applying fact-checking techniques, and knowing exactly when human review is required. That last skill is the single largest domain on the exam at 21 percent, and this course weights it accordingly.
You will choose the right product and model for the job, including Projects, artifacts, research mode, and the differences between Haiku, Sonnet and Opus, so you balance quality, speed and cost instead of defaulting to the most expensive option. You will manage context and memory properly, and know when to restart, summarize or persist information. You will configure Claude Projects with custom instructions, knowledge sources and connectors such as Google Drive and Gmail, and keep those configurations current.
You will integrate Claude into real workflows, analyze use cases, redesign processes, and explain both the value and the limits to stakeholders. You will apply governance and responsible-use judgment, covering data sensitivity, privacy and regulatory considerations, organizational AI policy, and appropriate versus inappropriate use cases. And when something goes wrong, you will diagnose weak prompts and poor outputs and fix them systematically.
Let me quickly go over the structure of the course. You will find:
11 structured sections, perfectly aligned with the latest version of the official exam guide and its seven weighted domains.
60 concise video lessons (approx. 4 hours total). Every video is scripted to ensure clear, concise delivery, with no filler and no thinking pauses.
Interactive presentations and hands-on demos inside Claude, so you see every feature in action instead of just hearing about it.
Practice questions with detailed explanations, included as quizzes at the end of each section.
2 full-length practice exams with 60 questions each that mirror the real exam format, timing, and domain weighting.
A downloadable 55-page PDF study guide with the key takeaways from every section, perfect for last-minute revision.
Regular updates based on changes to Claude's features and the exam content.
Important: please read this before you enroll
The Claude Certification Program is currently a partner-only program. Anthropic states that certification is available to people at organizations in the Claude Partner Network, and that registration requires a company email address on a recognized partner domain. Personal email addresses will not work, and non-partners cannot register at this time.
I want you to know this up front, before you enroll:
If your organization is a Claude Partner Network member, you can register through the Anthropic Partner Academy and schedule your exam with Pearson. This course prepares you for it.
If your organization is not a partner, you cannot sit the exam yet.
Either way, the exam guide is public, and this course is built directly against it. The seven domains are a genuinely good map of what it takes to use Claude well at work, so the course stands on its own as structured skills training even if you never sit the exam.
I am not affiliated with Anthropic, and I have no control over who is granted access to the exam. Please check your eligibility before you enroll if the certificate itself is your goal.
Who this course is for
This course is for anyone who uses Claude as a productivity tool at work. No coding and no API experience are needed.
It's ideal for business professionals, consultants, project managers, operations and marketing teams, HR and education professionals, and anyone in a knowledge-work role who wants to move past basic question-and-answer usage into real workflow design.
It is not aimed at software developers building on the Claude API or designing agentic systems. Those skills belong to the Claude Developer and Claude Architect certifications.
You'll not only be ready to pass the exam, but you'll also understand the concepts.
Take a look at the preview videos, especially "Roadmap to Success," to see how I approach the material.
