Explore software defined networking basics and the spine-leaf topology, then dive into Cisco ACI components, the Cisco API, and tenant, EPG, and policy configuration in data center networks.
Explore how software defined networking centralizes management, separates control and data planes, uses open flow with flow tables to implement ACLs and NAT across spine, leaf, and white box switches.
Explore spine and leaf topology, replacing three-tier designs by connecting leaf switches to spines and border leaves to the internet, enabling scalable, high-volume east to west traffic.
Explore how Cisco ACI centralizes data center policy with application profiles, endpoint policy groups and contracts, enabling secure, scalable application delivery in spine-leaf architectures.
Discover how VXLAN extends layer two across layer three boundaries to solve VLAN limitations and enable scalable data center design with VTEP and VXLAN ID mappings.
Explore the Cisco ACI components, including fabric and user space, leaves and spines, and how endpoints use vxlan with APIC managed automation.
Explore Cisco ACI configuration constructs, including tenants, VRF, and bridge domains, then define EPGs and contracts to govern bare-metal servers and inter-EPG traffic.
Explore pervasive gateway in Cisco ACI by binding web servers to a common EPG, using pervasive SVI across leaves to provide a universal gateway and VXLAN encapsulation.
This is a 2 hour Cisco ACI Tutorials. Its not complete! It would take at least 12hrs.
For you to completely understand Cisco ACI! But will make more effective by introducing
1st The basics of SDN and then Spine-Leaf Architecture, will also talk about VXLAN, advantages of ACI over other SDN Solutions. Then will discuss ACI Components, Configuration Constructs on the later part.
This is a FREE Udemy course and we have limited time of 2 hours
These are all whiteboard discussion and the goal is to know if you guys are interested in learning more Cisco ACI with my Presentation style! Because if you do. I will develop a full course – with Cisco ACI rental labs, slides, lab demonstration and more whiteboard discussion!
Cisco ACI is an SDN solution that defines its network infrastructure based upon network policies. To make this possible Cisco has created the ACI Fabric OS, which is run by all systems within the ACI network. This shared OS makes it possible for the various switches within the ACI network to translate policies into infrastructure designs.
It is highly recommended that you are CCNA or at least knowledgeable in basics of Networking.
