Instructor
Pavan Sharma is an expert in procurement, supply chain management and process improvement in manufacturing and services. He has completed his CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply in addition to his qualifications in Engineering and Business Management.
Pavan has used his experience of taking the Level 4, 5 and 6 qualifications of CIPS to design the practice test and revision notes to assist learners who are seeking the CIPS qualifications. He is currently the Director of Advance SCS, Singapore, a company that specializes in procurement and logistics training and consultancy. Advance SCS is an Approved Centre of CIPS and has been offering qualifications at all levels since 2004.
He has over 25 years experience as a top executive in supply chain management training and consultancy. . Before joining Advance SCS in 2002, he has spent over 15 years working in production, quality, logistics and procurement functions in automotive, consulting and logistics companies.
He is Adjunct Professor at National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore University of Social Sciences
In the last 5 years, Pavan has trained over 3000 people from more than 100 different private and public sector companies in the region. Some of the clients include public agencies and Ministries in Singapore; the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Defence in Singapore and Brunei, DSTA, Shell, CNOOC, SembCorp Logistics, Nestle, SUTD, A Star and dozens of others. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
