This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
401 tools for CIPD Level 3 preparation in one course: 240 models and methods explained with examples, 160 ready-to-use procedures, templates, checklists and formulas, and a downloadable HR English glossary.
Open a lecture, take the model or the template, use it in your assignment.
Why CIPD looks harder than it is
CIPD Level 3 has no multiple-choice exam. You write assignments, and each answer must show evidence, a model and an example from practice. Many students get lost before they start: long assignment briefs, an academic style, command verbs such as "explain" and "assess", referencing rules. If English is your second language, the HR vocabulary adds one more barrier.
What changes after this course
You know the content of the four core units and which models belong to each. You read a command verb and know how deep the answer must go. You build each answer with one template: point, evidence, explanation. You reference sources correctly. And you read and write about HR in English with the right terms.
What is inside: 401 tools, counted lecture by lecture
You do not have to take this number on trust. Open any lecture and read its description: every tool inside is listed there by name.
Where the tools are
What this course is not
It is not the qualification itself and it does not replace a CIPD-approved study centre. The course has a 10-question practice test and a 5-question quiz for self-check, not a bank of exam questions: CIPD Level 3 is assessed by written assignments.
Who is teaching
I am Mike, the #1 HR instructor on Udemy, with 1,800,000+ course enrollments from 170,000 students, and the author of about 200 books on Amazon. I built the people system at Preply as it became a unicorn and worked at Wargaming, iDeals and Alfa-Bank across 20 years in HR. I hold PHRi, SHRM-CP and HCI sHRBP certifications and represent HRCI in Eastern Europe.
I started to think about international certifications after about five years in HR, when I worked at the STB television channel. I found that there are three main ones: SHRM, HRCI and CIPD. Over time I earned three certificates, and they helped my career, my personal brand and my conference talks. CIPD itself I have postponed for now: I need Level 7 straight away, and it takes a lot of time. However much you know, you still have to read the material and write the assignments. That is why this course is built around the assignments.
How to use the course
Go through the five unit sections in order, then the assignment preparation section. Use the English for HR section in parallel or as a reference: section and lecture titles show how many tools are inside, and each lecture description lists them by name.
