Evidence for Christian faith

Requirements

  • Evidence for Gospel

Description

"It is far from surprising that world religious adherents typically claim that their faith is unique in several regards. Christians are no different here. These are quite natural assertions, as everyone wants to believe that something so crucial to them is both different and well as exceptional. But Christians often go further. They claim frequently that they actually have evidence that their faith is different from all the others." - Dr.Gary Habermas

Minimal facts approach for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ in the Tamil language. This is the latest approach developed by Dr. Gary Habermas. Prophetic and historical backgrounds are discussed. Decision making (conclusion) based on historical facts and historical criteria.

"My Minimal Facts Argument in favor of Jesus’ resurrection was developed many years ago while writing my Ph.D. dissertation. It has two requirements for the historical facts that are used: each must be confirmed by several strong and independent arguments, plus the vast majority of even critical scholars must recognize the occurrence’s historical nature. The critical scholars can be liberal, skeptical, agnostic, or even atheist, as long as they are specialists in a relevant field of study, such as the New Testament. Of these two requirements, it is important to recognize that the initial standard concerning strong evidential back-up is by far the most crucial." - Dr. Gary Habermas

Dr. Mike Licona has also been instrumental in teaching this method as a Chrisitan historian and apologist.
