Requirements

  • It's best if you know the major chords of G, C, D, E, A, B (or B7), and F as well as the minor chords of Am, Em, Dm, and Bm. Knowledge of 3 chord progression, and how minor chords relate to major chords is an advantage (this is material offered for FREE in Chord Confidence 1 - Beginner Guitar Chords: Major, Minor).

Description

Have you learned your guitar chords - E, A, D, C, B(7), G, F, Am, Bm, Dm, Em?

Do you know what to do with the chords you've learned?  For Example, do you know the relationship between Major chords and Minor chords? Did you know that each Major chord has a Minor chord that relates to it? Can you look at your guitar neck and make sense of it, or does it just look kind of overwhelming - like spaghetti?

Let me show you how to REVOLUTIONIZE YOUR THINKING - of music.  You see,  our playing is actually 85% thinking (our fingers act as tools to pinch guitar strings against the guitar neck to result in the sounds needed to create the music we play).  But our brain is what really drives that process.  (This is why so many novice guitar players don't advance in a very practical way, or finally just give up altogether - because they lack simplicity and practicality in their understanding).  DON'T GIVE UP!!  Become a very practical and knowledge based forward thinking guitar player - right here, with CHORD CONFIDENCE Intermediate!

In CHORD CONFIDENCE  Part 1- Beginner Guitar Chords: Major, Minor, I use only 3 chords  (in my unique and enthusiastic way ---- on a giant guitar! and for FREE), to show you the basic structure of most songs that we hear everyday on our devices or radio.

In CHORD CONFIDENCE Intermediate, I will lead you into the understanding of an advanced player that you've dreamed of!  Learn as I teach:

1)  terms that you need to understand, so I can communicate higher level principles to you

2)  basic harmony (don't be intimidated - I keep it simple - you can understand basic harmony; harmony alone will greatly advance your skill)

3)  actually 'see' what is happening on your guitar neck as I replace the complexity you now see with practicality and simplicity - using only 7 notes

Do you think learning this would help you play guitar better?  You better believe it will!

CHORD CONFIDENCE Intermediate gives you practical understanding of Song Progression. Grow out of basic guitar chords into the understanding of (simple to apply) Chord Variations (the more colorful guitar chords you desire to learn and play).  Chord Variations greatly enhance the bigness of the sound of the chords you play.  Learn to easily incorporate Basic Harmony.  Why should you understand basic harmony?  Because  HARMONY (almost by itself) IS MUSIC.  If taught well, harmony is not difficult to understand.  CHORD CONFIDENCE Intermediate is simple in approach, but it's effects are profound.    Learn from Charlie, the "Foundation Repair Guy".  Forever change your musical confidence and ability!  You can become an "Effortless Guitar Player!"

Who this course is for:

  • The person who has learned basic chords, but is not sure how to move forward (I offer my first course: Chord Confidence Part 1 - Beginner Guitar - for FREE, so you don't have to guess about what you should know). To teach, I use patterns, associations, and reference points (that I began in part 1), to build your understanding so you don't build a faulty foundation of relying on your memory (if you ever used a computer whose memory was full, you know how frustrating this is))
