Description

My daily life is dedicated to children with special needs, different syndromes, conditions, difficulties but also typical development whose parents would like to reinforce the potential of the baby from the early stages of life. In this course I would like to bring you a clear and simple understanding of what or not expect in the first months of life of your client, baby or newborn family member. Also of how to observe, and how to achieve the full potential of the baby.

In this course you will learn everything you need to know about children's development, typical and atypical milestones development. Improve your parenting &/or therapeutic skills.This course will cover three main topics:

  1. Introduction to Child Development

  2. Typical and Atypical child development. Milestones

  3. Warning Signs

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  1. Identify key characteristics related to the development of children from birth to 6 months old

  2. Distinguish the differences between typical and atypical development

  3. Interpret the predetermined milestones for children in the specific age groups

  4. Observe and understand better the development of your child

  5. Learn about the first 6 months of life, the importance of exposure, experience and play.

  6. Learn about warning signs
