This course will teach you the basics of chess. You will not only learn how to move the pieces, check, checkmate & special moves, you will also learn to get good positions in your game. This is a good way to start your journey towards becoming a good chess player.
In the first section of this course, you will learn the basics of the game. This includes piece movements, check, checkmate, special rules & stalemate.
In the second section, you will learn the practical aspects of a game. This includes all stages of the game - opening, middlegame & endgame. You will learn how to get good positions and how to win games.
In the 3rd section, you will get a glimpse into the instructor's mind as he plays 3 games against random opponents of his strength. The instructor will take you along through every step into his calculation process as he deals with each of the 3 opponents.
At the end of the course, you will not only know the basics of chess, you will also be a decent chess player. You will know different checkmate patterns, including scholar's mate, rolling checkmate & assisted checkmates. You will also know how to win endgames.
