Description

Chemical weapons are chemical poisonous substances and the means of their application /chemical missiles, bombs, shells, etc./, with the help of which these substances are delivered to the target and sprayed in the atmosphere and on the ground.

Poisonous substances can cause mass casualties among people, animals, contaminate the area, water sources, food and fodder, and destroy vegetation.

Chemical weapons were used on a massive scale in 1914-1918. The chemical war was started by the German army. Chlorine, phosgene, hydrocyanic acid, mustard gas, etc. were used

About 1.3 million people were poisoned, approximately 200,000 fatally.

Doctors did not know the clinic, diagnostics, or treatment methods, and there were not enough medical supplies.
