Welcome to ChatGPT for Educators—a practical course designed to help teachers, coordinators, school leaders and education professionals understand how to use Artificial Intelligence to enhance teaching, learning and professional productivity.

ChatGPT is not simply a tool for generating answers. When used thoughtfully, it can become a teaching assistant, brainstorming partner, lesson-planning companion, assessment designer, content creator and professional productivity accelerator.

In this course, we will move beyond the basic question, “What can ChatGPT do?” and explore a more meaningful question:

“How can educators use ChatGPT to create better learning experiences?”

You will learn how to write effective prompts, design engaging lesson plans, create differentiated learning activities, develop competency-based assessments, generate rubrics, provide meaningful feedback and support diverse learner needs.

We will also explore how ChatGPT can help educators save time on routine tasks while creating more opportunities for creativity, reflection and meaningful interaction with students.

Importantly, this course is not about replacing teachers with AI. The teacher remains the thinker, facilitator, mentor and decision-maker. AI becomes a powerful support system that amplifies professional expertise.

We will also address responsible AI use—including accuracy, bias, privacy, academic integrity, verification and ethical classroom practices.

By the end of this course, you should be able to move from simply using ChatGPT to intentionally integrating it into your pedagogy and professional practice.
