Underpainting help in unifying the colors in a painting. In this lecture I show you what material I use for underpainting and how I modify the drawing to accentuate the feel of a high altitude place. Getting the composition correct is crucial here.

Paint consistency is important when you paint areas that do not have underpainting. I also have to take care not to muddy the colors.
