In this course we will explore each of the 7 Chakras and learn how to use them in our everyday practice, daily life, and if you're a teacher, how to teach them. The entire universe is made of energy; the human body is a magnificent dynamo within this field. For thousands of years, countless healing systems have professed that health and wellness are created by the harmonious movement of internal energy, called Chi, Prana, or Life Force. Long before the dawn of scientific materialism, ancient cultures discovered our human bodies have 7 primary energy centres, the 7 Chakras.
The 7 Chakras run along your spine. Each Chakra has a corresponding number, name, colour, specific area of the spine from the sacrum to the crown of the head, and health focus. Chakra (cakra in Sanskrit) means “wheel” and refers to energy points in your body. They are thought to be spinning disks of energy that should stay “open” and aligned, as they correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional and physical well-being.
An official school-issued certificate is optional for students using the course solely for Continuing Education purposes. This is at an additional cost of $55 USD. This course qualifies for 6 CE Credits.
