In 1998, CFPS and NFPA partnered to jointly offer this highly regarded certification program, a total number of certifications issued till date is 5000 + since started

Experience in code consulting of various types of both active and passive fire protection systems, including fire alarm and detection systems, automatic sprinkler systems, special fire suppression systems, through -penetration Firestop systems, smoke control systems and use of interior finishes. Extensive knowledge and application of NFPA codes and standards, including NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NFPA 1 Fire Code and NFPA 99 -Health care facility code. Experience includes a wide variety of different occupancy and uses, to includes assembly, business, storage, healthcare and board & care. Knowledge in evaluating the application of equivalency (NFPA 101 A) to provide the level of safety equivalent to NFPA 101 as an alternative approach.
