We will discuss technician responsibilities, what a major repair consist of, procedures to fallow when leak resting and pressurizing a low pressure unit. The student will be able to list safest pressure to pressurize to, trigger rates for low pressure systems, description of industrial prosses refrigeration, commercial refrigeration and comfort cooling definitions.

In this section the participant will learn the procedures for repairing if unit has a leak, proper way to recover refrigerant, recovery machine safety, rupture disk operation, leak check procedures to fallow on low pressure systems, oil requirements and proper procedures to keep systems from freezing.
In this section the participants will learn about pressures needed when charging a system, evacuation levels for a low pressure system and what to do when performing a major repair.
In this section the participants will be learn how to identifying a burnout, what happens when pressure drops too fast when recovering, how to prevent or stop freezing of a viewing glass, purpose of a purge unit, what is the indication if purge is operating too often, safety when recovering or handling refrigerant and ASHRAE regulations and the SNAP program.
CFC Universal Exam Prep Course to achieve the Universal certification.
The CFC Universal Exam Prep course teaches you the dates, terminology, rules and regulations. Hence, knowing this is necessary to be prepared to take and pass the EPA CFC Section 608 certification Exam. This mandatory certification is necessary to be able to purchase and handle refrigerants. The certification is required in countries that are a participant in the Montreal Protocol. Consenquilly, without the Universal CFC certification, it is NOT possible to legally purchase refrigerant or provide service on an air conditioning system.
Please note that this online prep course does not include the cost of the actual EPA CFC certification test.

In order to ensure the proper handling and recycling of refrigerant and waste materials, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires certification. The chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification process consists of a single CFC Universal Exam Prep Course that consists of four parts. As well as, CFC Universal Exam that lasts 3 hours. The course covers a variety of topics related to refrigeration and prepares you to take a certification exam.
