This practice-exam course is designed for facility management professionals preparing for the Certified Facility Manager® examination. It provides a progressive learning and assessment experience that evaluates essential knowledge, practical application, professional judgment, and strategic decision-making.
The course contains 530 original practice questions distributed across one diagnostic assessment and four progressively challenging mock examinations. Questions address realistic FM situations involving operations, maintenance, finance, risk, sustainability, leadership, communication, quality, real estate, technology, data management, and project delivery.
Each question includes:
Three carefully designed answer options
The correct answer
An explanation of the correct response
Explanations showing why the alternatives are less appropriate
Practical scenarios reflecting facility management responsibilities
Balanced coverage of all 10 CFM® competency domains
The course progresses from foundational knowledge to complex situations requiring candidates to analyze incomplete information, balance competing priorities, interpret performance data, evaluate financial alternatives, manage risks, and select the most appropriate professional response.
1. Practice Test 1: CFM® Readiness Diagnostic – Assess Your 10-Domain Knowledge
Begin by evaluating your current level of preparation across all 10 competency domains. This diagnostic includes five questions from each domain and helps identify strengths, knowledge gaps, and priority areas for further study.
Use the results to develop a focused study plan before attempting the full-length mock examinations.
2. Practice Test 2: CFM® Full Mock Exam 1 – Foundation Level
Establish a strong foundation in essential FM principles, terminology, processes, responsibilities, and management practices. This examination evaluates whether you can recognize appropriate facility management methods across all competency domains.
It is recommended as the first full-length examination after completing the readiness diagnostic.
3. Practice Test 3: CFM® Full Mock Exam 2 – Applied Decision-Making
Progress from knowledge recall to practical application. This examination presents realistic workplace situations requiring you to apply FM principles, interpret operational information, prioritize actions, and select appropriate management responses.
The questions cover day-to-day and tactical decisions involving service delivery, assets, people, budgets, risks, projects, technology, sustainability, and stakeholder requirements.
4. Practice Test 4: CFM® Full Mock Exam 3 – Final Exam Simulation
Test your overall readiness through a full-length, timed simulation covering all 10 competency domains. The examination integrates knowledge, application, professional judgment, and time-management requirements.
Use this test to assess your ability to maintain accuracy and concentration throughout a complete three-hour examination.
5. Practice Test 5: CFM® Full Mock Exam 4 – Final Exam Simulation
Challenge yourself with the most demanding examination in the course. It contains longer, multi-factor scenarios with plausible competing answers, calculations, incomplete information, operational constraints, and cross-domain considerations.
