Learning of Air Navigation is very important in the field of aviation. It is used by pilots in aircraft to know their exact position and fond their way. In good weather, pilots navigate themselves visually with maps. The first kind of navigation is called VFR (visual flight rules) navigation. The second is IFR (instrument flight rules) navigation.

ILS and MLS comes under the category of IFR navigation, while PAPI is a part of VFR navigation.
