Description

This first 2026 edition supplements your Microsoft PL-300 studies with focused Power BI skill practice. Work through 200 curated, original questions that ask you to connect requirements with the right configuration or analytical decision. This is an independent learning resource, not a collection of actual or recalled certification exam questions.

The course uses the April 20, 2026 PL-300 study guide as its scope reference. This question bank contains 55 questions on preparing data, 54 on modeling data, 55 on visualizing and analyzing data, and 36 on managing and securing Power BI. These are the counts within this resource, not a reproduction of the official exam's question counts or structure. The bank does not cover every assessed skill.

Practice Power Query transformations and data-quality decisions, table relationships, DAX measures, and filter contexts. Other scenarios address visual selection, row-level security (RLS), access permissions, publishing, and sharing. Explanations for every answer option show why a choice meets the stated requirements or why an alternative does not, so that review goes beyond memorizing an answer.

There are 4 tests of 50 questions each, with 75 minutes allocated to each test. The 70% target is a practice indicator for planning further study. It is not equivalent to Microsoft's scaled passing score of 700 and does not predict your official exam score or result.

Start with 20-30 minutes in Practice mode and note the requirement that guided each decision. Read every option explanation, including those for questions you answered correctly, and consult the references retained in each question's overall explanation. Review uncertain concepts before attempting a full 75-minute timed test to check whether you can apply them consistently.

Basic familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, tabular data, and building a simple report is recommended. Learners who are developing introductory Power Query and DAX skills can also use the exercises. No prior certification or exam pass is required to take this course; this statement does not define eligibility for the official exam. English is the language of this study material. Check the languages offered for the official exam when booking.

This is supplemental question practice, not a complete curriculum, a replica of the exam interface, or a hands-on lab simulator. No lab environment or licenses are supplied. Where questions discuss Copilot or Direct Lake, the stated scenario conditions apply. Before trying a feature in your own environment, check its current availability, licensing, capacity, and tenant requirements. These features are not available in every environment.

This is independent exam-preparation material, not provided, approved, endorsed or sponsored by the certification body or product vendor. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners.

  • PL-300 learners seeking short practice sessions to supplement foundational study.
  • Power BI users who want to strengthen Power Query, DAX, and relationship decisions.
  • Analysts reviewing RLS, access permissions, report publishing, and sharing.
  • Learners who prefer English explanations for every answer option to identify gaps in understanding.
