What you'll learn

  • Interpret IPv4/IPv6 addressing, subnet ranges, and device roles to identify appropriate network designs.
  • Analyze VLANs, trunks, STP, EtherChannel, and wireless access scenarios to explain Layer 2 behavior.
  • Choose routes using longest-prefix match, administrative distance, static routing, and single-area OSPF.
  • Distinguish DHCP, DNS, NAT/PAT, NTP, SNMP, syslog, and QoS roles when interpreting service scenarios.
  • Evaluate ACL matching, secure device access, Layer 2 protections, and wireless authentication choices.
  • Interpret REST and JSON fundamentals and compare the roles and operational differences of configuration-management and automation tools.

Description

Review Cisco CCNA 200-301 concepts with 260 English practice questions that compare the reasons for correct and incorrect answers. The English questions, answer sets and all-option explanations were reviewed in September 2026. This edition replaces the earlier 100-question bank with the accepted questions from the complete source review.

There are two tests of 130 questions, each with a 195-minute limit. The bank contains single-answer and multiple-answer questions; each multiple-answer question specifies the number of answers to select. The 70% threshold is a practice benchmark, not Cisco's passing score. The actual 200-301 exam lasts 120 minutes. This course's question counts, timing and formats are designed for learning, not exact exam reproduction.

The reference version is Cisco's CCNA Exam Topics v1.1. The questions address network fundamentals, network access, IP connectivity, IP services, security fundamentals, and automation and programmability. Review IPv4/IPv6 addressing, VLAN and trunk behavior, STP, EtherChannel, route selection, access control, wireless networking, REST and JSON through the conditions given in each question. Domain proportions do not reproduce the official exam weighting.

Cisco's announcement checked in September 2026 lists February 2, 2027 as the last date to take v1.1 and February 3, 2027 as the first date to take v2.0. This revision references v1.1 and does not claim completed coverage of v2.0. Check the exam version for your scheduled date and use the current official topics to plan further study.

Every question includes an overall explanation, a reason for each answer option and official technical references. Begin with short Practice mode sessions, explain your choice before opening the feedback, and review both mistakes and correct guesses. Use the explanations to identify the deciding conditions and consider how changing those conditions would change the answer.

The supplied source candidates were reviewed for adoption, repair, duplication, missing information and unverifiable claims. Questions that could not be supported without inventing their conditions or alternatives were excluded. EIGRP and some legacy configuration-management material are retained as supplementary study beyond the explicitly listed v1.1 objectives. This bank does not promise exhaustive AI/ML, Terraform or other objective coverage and does not replace hands-on labs or official learning materials.

This study edition is in English. Cisco lists English and Japanese for the exam; the availability of translated study material does not imply that the exam is offered in every course language. The September 2026 English revision statement applies to this edition, not to completion of all other language editions. Device licenses, simulator licenses and access to a lab environment are not included.

This is independent exam-preparation material, not a course provided, approved, endorsed or sponsored by Cisco or any other certification body. Who this course is for:

  • CCNA 200-301 candidates checking their understanding after studying the core concepts.
  • Junior network technicians practicing configuration and troubleshooting decisions before lab work.
  • IT support staff connecting everyday network symptoms with switching, routing, and services.
  • Returning learners reviewing automation and security topics to plan further study.
