200-301 CCNA topics concerning EIGRP

  • A basic understanding of networks is helpful.
  • Have Packet-Tracer, GNS3, or some other network simulator.

In this hands-on lab we will learn how to configure and verify the EIGRP network protocol. We will begin by setting up our lab with 5 routers and 6 networks. Then we will learn to configure EIGRP, and then verify it is running properly after learning some new show commands. We will follow up by simulating a down network and learning how to troubleshoot a problem with some routing protocols. Afterward, we will re-test network functionality, and finish by reviewing all that we learned. This lab uses Packet-Tracer which is free to download from Cisco. But you can use GNS3 or any other network simulator that you like.
